Dear Devotees,
I wish to introduce myself; I was born on 16th July 1952, in a religious family. My mother, late Indirabai, was a pious and religious lady. At the time of my birth, she did lot of devotion of Lord Shiva and Mahabali-Veer Hanumanji and therefore in her womb only, I got the Sanskar of Hari-Bhakti. Immediately 8 months after my birth, our family came in contact with the well-known saint of Karnataka and Maharashtra, Bramhmi-bhut (Late) H.H. Kalavati Aai of Angol, Belgaum, who spread the “Nam-Sankirtan-Bhajan Marg” and her lakhs of devotees are in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Since my childhood, along with my study upto Law degree, regularly I was attending the bhajans discourses conducted in ashram of Saint Kalavati Aai. Also in my house was conducting the pooja of lord Shri Venkateshwara of Tirupati. I have had had love towards Archana Bhakti and Nama-Sankirtan way of Devotion.
In 1979, I visited Tirumala Tirupati Shrine of Lord Shri Venkateshwara, from there I brought a old book of Shri Venkatesh Sahastra Namastotra (1000 names of Lord Venkatesha) I liked the names and started reading it, within few days, I by-hearted it and after wards it became part of my life. Since 1981, I regularly chant “Shri Venkatesh Sahastra Namastotra” twice a day and became a “Siddha Mantra”
In 1981, one more way of devotion appeared in my life that is, “SHRI GURUCHARITRA”. Gurucharitra is the holy charitra of Bhagvan Dattatraya. Bhagvan Dattatraya, was born before the 6th Avatar - Parashuram. He was son of great “Rishi Atri”. He is unity of Bramha, Vishnu & Maheshwara and therefore called “Adi-Guru” “The well-known sholk – Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Maheswara, Gurur Sakshat Parabrahma Tasmai Shri Guruve Namaha” depicts the same.
In kaliyuga in 14th century Shri Dattatraya took first avatar in Peethapuram (Andhra Pradesh) by the name “Shri Shripad Shri Vallabha” a bramhachari Avatar. Continuation of the 1st avatar was the 2nd avatar know as “Shri Narasinh Saraswati” in 15th century. His abode made the place holy and converted into a Kshetram – Shrine namely Audumbar, Narasinhmawadi and Ganagapur.
As “Shri Swami Samartha of Akkalkot” is the 3rd Avatar of Gurudeo Dattatraya, he took Mahasamadhi on 30th April 1878 at Akkalkot. Last 14 years I am regularly doing the sadhana alies bhakti of Shri Swami Samarth, Purna Avadhoot Avatar of Dattaguru.
“Shri Gurucharitra” is the charitra (biography) of these three Datta Avatar’s written by the grandson of Sayandeo a loving desiple of Shri Narasinhma Saraswati Datta Guru in 16th century.
In Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh most of the devotees of dattatraya, regularly read this holy script for the fulfillment of success in family life and achieve Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha. Almost all great saints always surrendered to “Gurudeo Dattatraya” as Dattatraya is Guru and Deo and therefore we say ”SHRI GURUDEO DATTA”.
According to Hindu faith human being can be affected by Bhut (Ghost), Preta, Pishacha, Gruha Dosha (Vastu Dosha), Nakshatra Dosha (Nava Graha Dosha), Santan Dosha etc. and it is a almost 500 years experience that by chanting Shri Gurucharitra, these dosha’s are vanished.
In 24 years, I have completed reading Shri Gurucharitra 108 times (one completion needs nearly 21 hours) and also studied it and did “Siddha Mantra”
After 40 years long tapasya, Shri Datta Guru gave me permission to conduct “Shri Gurucharitra Parayan” in the temples and the houses of devotees who intend to seek the blessings of Datta Guru. Seven days, three days or one day parayan seva is to be performed as per the availability of space, time etc.
Hindu Devotees can take the opportunity to conduct “Shri Gurucharitra Parayan Seva” and “Shri Venkateshwara Mahapooja”, in their house or temples. For more details you can contact me, I will be most pleased to guide you in the same.
By doing the long sadhana, my spirit is enlightened and thereby I studied so many vidyas, like regular study of B.Sc., LLB (Spl.) Advocate, Musicians – Performing Harmonium Artist, Teaching Music, Manufacturing of Musical Instruments, Jyotish – Astrology, Speaking 8 Languages, Cooking, Making Garland, Nice Rangolis etc. Once spirit is enlightened, we can do many things. There are the fruits of the long sadhana – bhakti of Shri Venkateshwara – Swami Samarth Datta Guru.
