Educational assistance: I have been a volunteer tutor, homework assistant, reader, ESL assistant in Seattle and Eastside. I have been a very effective coach and mentor to students and immigrants who need help with English as Secondary Language, Math and Science. If you would like to schedule a session over weekend, contact me and fix an appointment. Since this assistance is purely voluntary, there is no charge for these sessions.

Professional assistance: Every year, more than two hundred thousand hopeful candidates apply for a job at Microsoft, give or take a few thousand. At any given time, there are no more than a thousand openings to be filled, give or take a few. There are recruiting agencies and personnel, contracted by Microsoft, working full time to sort through the applicants and recommend only the best. Then, there are employee referrals that make a very small but very significant part of the entire horde of candidates. Microsoft flies the creme-de-la-cream to its Redmond campus for a series of face-to-face interviews. Only the best are offered a position.

If you have already been invited for a face-to-face interview, congratulations are definitely in order. You have made it to the "survivor" team. How you survive the next round will take more than a stellar resume and years of experience. The art of interviewing is nothing new. There is tons of literature from scores of experts, across the centuries, that will tell you how to ace an interview. Any interview!

Employee referral is a great way to make great hires. Majority of hires are from this small pool of candidates. These are also the candidates that have an extremely low turnover rate. Part of the reason for their hiring success is that current employee has worked with, or known the candidate personally and no one recommends a jerk. Another reason is that the referral candidate will have an insight into the company and the interview process. It is always good to know the enemy. If you have read "The Art of War", by Sun-Tzu, you would know what I mean.

Wouldn't it be great if you had a chance to talk to someone who has survived the Microsoft interview! I have survived it more than once and I firmly believe that I can do it again. What makes me tick? Perhaps it is my technical competence. Perhaps it is my confidence in myself. Perhaps I have faced plenty interviews that another interview is like a party invitation. Whatever the reason, I have something to offer. As part of growing with a great company, It is only fair that the company and employees give back to the community that supports them. As part of Microsoft's giving campaign, I provide monetary support to educational institutions and children/women's charities. But then, there are things that money can't buy.

I provide voluntary, no obligation, one-on-one and completely free one hour sessions to interested candidates who would like to get a few tricks, tips, and techniques before they enter the interview room. If you are interested, want to have an edge over the rest, contact me now and fix an appointment.

Spiritual assistance: As a Yoga practitioner for over fifteen years now, I have made Yoga an integrated part of my life. Visit my Yoga site for my Yoga services.
