We take your privacy seriously. Yoga and Meditation (YnM hereafter) has created this privacy policy to show a firm commitment to the protection of YnM members' private information. The following discloses information gathering and dissemination practices at YnM.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

• This policy covers how YnM treats personal information that YnM collects and receives, including information related to your past use of YnM products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
• This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that YnM does not own or control, or to people that YnM does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

• YnM is an online service created to provide freely available content on the Internet to its members. None of the information that is gathered may be used by the public (visitors, other members, and anyone not employed by YnM, its corporate affiliates, or the financial institutions we use) to identify a specific member.
• Private information, including but not limited to member first name, last name, credit card number, mailing address and e-mail address, may be used for general administration purposes.
• Information that members do not submit to us is aggregate information: Member's server, IP address, and browser-type related information may be used to help diagnose problems with our server, and to help administer YnM web site.
• YnM collects personal information when you register with YnM, when you use YnM products or services, when you visit YnM pages or the pages of certain YnM partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. YnM may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
• When you register we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. For some financial products and services we may also ask for your address, Social Security number, and information about your assets. Once you register with YnM and log in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
• YnM collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of financial products and services that we offer.
• YnM automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, YnM cookie information, and the page you request.
• YnM uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• YnM does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
• We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with YnM under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help YnM communicate with you about offers from YnM and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of YnM's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if YnM is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, YnM will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
• YnM displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria - for example, men ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.
• YnM does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
• YnM advertisers include, but not limited to, financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).
• If we receive a court order requiring a divulging of your private information, we will notify you via the e-mail address you provide us to advise that we are in receipt of said order, within forty eight (48) hours of receipt of such order. We will not release information until seven (7) days after receipt of such order, unless required by the order or search warrant to do so earlier. You may request a copy of the order received so that you may obtain legal help should you decide to fight the order.
• This site may contain links to other sites. Any links to sites outside of YnM, are not controlled or operated by YnM. YnM is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. Hence this privacy information no longer applies when a member leaves YnM. This includes, but not limited to, links to partners, links to affiliates, links to banner ads, links in e-mails, or links in individual member profiles etc.

Cookies

• YnM may set and access YnM cookies on your computer.
• YnM lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their own cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.
• YnM may use cookies to help protect certain portions of the web site which are reserved for members. The cookies are not used for any other purpose. Sensitive information (like member e-mail address or password) is never stored in cookies. Member ID and password travel on the wire only once (when a member signs in) and cannot be accessed even via cookies.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

• You can edit your YnM Account Information, including your preferences, at any time. You may also permanently delete your account thus deleting all your information anytime by visiting our Account Management page.
• New categories of YnM content may be added to the content preferences page from time to time. Members who visit this page can opt out of receiving future communications from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.
• We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the YnM service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the YnM Newsletter, that are considered part of your YnM account, with or without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.

Confidentiality and Security

• We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
• We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
• Your YnM Account Information is password-protected.
• In certain areas YnM uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.
• YnM discourages members from including contact information in their member profile descriptions/ text fields. Any contact information that is disclosed in those areas poses risk to the member.
• If a member is concerned by the prospect of revealing his or her e-mail address, he/ she may set up an entirely new e-mail address for the purposes of YnM. One may set up a free e-mail address with the following service providers: Yahoo, Hotmail or on any such free e-mail service provider.
• Member password is not stored as plain text. Only the encrypted password is stored in the YnM database.
• The hardware and software that stores member's private information are kept in a secured environment.
• YnM and its representatives will NEVER ask you to reveal your password. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. If anyone claiming to work for YnM asks for your password under any circumstances, by email or by phone, please refuse and immediately contact us.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

• YnM may update this privacy policy anytime. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your YnM account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
